Privacy policy
Effective October 1, 2026
Freeboard (https://freeboard.ndaw.net) is a private research tool for valuing public companies from their SEC filings. It's used by invitation only. This policy explains what information Freeboard collects when you sign in and use it, and what happens to it.
What we collect
Freeboard uses Google sign-in. When you sign in, Google shares your email address with Freeboard and confirms that you control it. Freeboard never sees your password and asks Google for nothing else: not your contacts, files, calendar or mail.
When you make a change in Freeboard (adding or removing a company from the watchlist, saving adjustments to a company's assumptions, or creating or deleting an alert), Freeboard records your email address and the time alongside the change, together with any note you write.
Like most websites, the servers Freeboard runs on keep technical logs of requests, such as IP address, browser type and the page requested, for security and troubleshooting.
How we use it
- To check that you're allowed to use Freeboard.
- To show who made each change, in the change history other Freeboard users see.
- To keep the service secure and working.
We don't use your information for advertising, sell it, or share it with anyone outside the people who use and run Freeboard, except where the law requires it. Freeboard's use of information received from Google APIs follows the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.
Where it's kept
Freeboard runs on Google Cloud in the United States, which stores this information on our behalf. Access is limited to Freeboard's administrators.
Cookies
Signing in sets a cookie that keeps you signed in. Freeboard uses no advertising or analytics cookies.
How long we keep it
Your email address stays in the change history for as long as that history is kept, so changes remain attributable. Server logs are kept for up to 30 days. To have your access removed, or your email address removed from the change history, write to us at the address below.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, we'll update this page and its effective date.
